Eggcentric is a free top-down arena shooter roguelite. Pick one of 12 playable eggs, fight through 20 waves of aliens across 5 arenas, and build something unhinged along the way. Your weapons aim and fire on their own, so the game is pure movement, dodging, and build decisions. Spend between waves in the shop, fuse weapons into stronger ones, and see how long you last.
Features
12 playable eggs
Each with its own stats and a rule that changes the run. The Chef gets shop discounts, the Vampire heals by dealing damage, Robo-Egg builds turrets that shoot for it.
5 arenas
From the Farm to the Station, each with its own hazards, secrets, and a Lunch Inspector boss at the end of every run.
Survival mode
20 waves of escalating chaos. Pick upgrades between waves, snowball your build, and see how far you get.
Dungeon Run mode
Fight through connected worlds instead of waves, with horde, ambush, and holdout encounters, and a pantry of upgrades along the way.
Multiplayer and more
Multiplayer, Daily Runs, 48 Dungeon achievements, a full Codex tracking every weapon and alien you've found, and over 400 weapons to discover.
Buildcraft
Dual wield, build for ricochet and crit, stack speed for dodge-based builds. And the Lunch Inspector? Yes, he's really a boss.

Controls
WASD or arrow keys to move. Aim and fire are automatic. Shop, pause, and confirm on mouse or controller buttons. Full controller support with vibration.

Free on Windows and Linux. Unzip and play. The game can also update itself from the Options menu. (macOS build coming soon.)
